What is this all about??
I seem to be curious person.
I'm sure that those who speak the "Queen's" English are heartily nodding your head, "Yes, Kathy, you are a "curious" one, to be sure!"
But that's not what I meant.
If something sparks my interest, creates a question in my mind, or otherwise hints at something that might be interesting....I will follow where e're it might lead! And more often than not, it leads to tidbits of information that others might find interesting to. But not all "interesting" information is "useful" as well. And is it really worth the time and effort for me to catalogue bits and pieces that are merely interesting? Not really. But "useful'? That might be worth a shot.
When I land on some useful bit of info, I usually end up repeating it--often. Sometimes as a "Golly, did you know that you could...?" random comment. And sometimes, more appropriately, when someone asks, "Kathy, do you know how to...?"
Perhaps I should confess that anyone who asks me for help usually knows they run the risk of getting way more help than they wanted........and perhaps more info than they may have use for!
So this blog provides mea a place where I can "download" new information (mostly tech or web related, but not exclusively), and let folks check it out for themselves....I may still repeat a thing or two from time to time, but now I can offer help without folks wondering how much "extra" will come along with it!
I'm no IT whiz, or major brainiac...so don't expect rocket science here. Some of you may find you already know most of what I post. But there are lots of folks, like me, who are still on that long learning curve...
So I just figure if I learn something that is helpful to me, it might be helpful to someone else!
